Front Office Associate Role Summary

As a Front Office Associate, you will be the face of Sayaji Hotel, ensuring a seamless and pleasant experience for all guests from check-in to check-out. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.


Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Services: Welcome and assist guests with check-in, check-out, and reservations. Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally.
  • Front Desk Operations: Handle room assignments, key issuance, and payment processing efficiently using the property management system.
  • Communication: Coordinate with other departments (Housekeeping, Concierge, etc.) to fulfill guest needs promptly.
  • Billing and Records: Maintain accurate billing and guest records. Handle financial transactions and prepare reports as required.
  • Appearance and Conduct: Maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to grooming standards. Represent the hotel’s brand and values in all interactions.
  • Upselling: Promote and upsell hotel services, packages, and amenities to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue.
  • Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve guest concerns effectively and escalate issues when necessary.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in front office or customer-facing roles, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in English and Hindi (knowledge of additional languages is a plus).
    • Familiarity with front office software (e.g., Opera, IDS, or similar).
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Polished and professional appearance.
    • Friendly, approachable, and guest-oriented personality.
    • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle high-stress situations effectively.
