Overview

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• In depth and hands on knowledge on Cisco routers ( ASR 1000 series, 7600, 7200 etc) and switches ( 6500, 3750, etc ).Data center switch(Nexus 7000,Nexus 5000,Nexus2000 Nexus 1000V.
• Experience of other brand of routers/Switches Cisco / SD-WAN Solution
• In depth and hands on knowledge of routing protocols like BGP, MBGP , OSPF, EIGRP, static routing, MPLS/VRF
• In depth and hands on knowledge of switching protocols like Trunking, VTP, STP, RSTP, MST, Ether channel , VSS , Switch Stacking.
• In depth Knowledge of DC technologies OTV, VPC, FCOE, FC, FEX, VXLAN.
• Basic Knowledge of WAN optimization tools like Packet shaper, Allot..Etc
• Certifications CCNP routing / switching certification not training.
• Team handling.
• Manage 24/7/365 Network Operation Center (NOC).
• Oversee day-to-day NOC operations and escalations.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with internal and external stakeholders and vendors.
• Educational qualifications – diploma / graduate in Electronics / computer Engineering / BSC in IT / Electronics / Physics / Computers.
• Act as escalation instance at senior management level for all operational incidents and problems; ensure observation of operational security regulations
• Define a standard carrier management framework including bonus / malus system for incidents, unplanned maintenance works, evidence of unexpected / un-communicated single point of failures…
• Secure full alignment and synchronization with the regional teams of all major activities involving the International & Core Network
(1.) To ensure process effectiveness and continual service improvement. (2.) To manage cost of providing service within budgeted levels. (3.) To manage risks and escalate appropriately to Sr Management. (4.) To manage support operations to agreed SLAs. (5.) To lead , guide and coach the team
