Overview

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and experienced individuals to join our team as F&B Captains. As an F&B Captain, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service and ensuring guest satisfaction in our food and beverage outlets.

Responsibilities:

  1. Guest Service:
    • Greet guests warmly and provide them with an exceptional dining experience.
    • Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring attention to detail and guest preferences.
    • Provide recommendations on menu items, specials, and beverages.
    • Ensure timely and smooth delivery of food and beverages to guests’ tables.
    • Address any guest concerns or special requests promptly and professionally.
  2. Team Leadership:
    • Supervise and train F&B staff, including waiters and servers, to maintain high service standards.
    • Assign duties and responsibilities to staff members, ensuring smooth operations during shifts.
    • Lead by example, demonstrating excellent customer service and professionalism at all times.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and mutual support.
  3. Quality Control:
    • Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and portion sizes to ensure consistency.
    • Conduct regular inspections of dining areas, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to hygiene standards.
    • Address any issues related to food safety or sanitation promptly and effectively.
    • Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to maintain high-quality standards and efficient service.
  4. Administration:
    • Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and reconcile receipts.
    • Maintain records of inventory, including stock levels and consumption.
    • Assist in ordering supplies and managing inventory to minimize waste and optimize costs.
    • Prepare reports on sales, expenses, and other relevant metrics as required by management.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a high-end hotel or restaurant.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Proven ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sound knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu items and wine selections.
  • Basic computer skills for handling POS systems and generating reports.
  • Certification in food safety and sanitation practices is an advantage.
