Production Head

Overview

We are hiring an energetic, passionate and experienced candidate for the position of Production Head at Bajaj Electricals Ltd.

Duties and Responsibilities of Production Head:

1. Oversee the entire production process and ensure efficient and timely execution of production plans.
2. Implementing & maintaining the related processes accordance to ISO 9001:2008 &
   ISO, EMS & OHSAS
3. Develop and implement strategies to optimize production output, reduce costs, and improve overall productivity.
4. Coordinate with other departments such as engineering, procurement, and quality assurance to ensure smooth production operations.
5. Monitor production schedules, track progress, and take proactive measures to address any deviations or delays.
6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all production staff.
7. Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure product quality meets or exceeds customer expectations.
8. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
9. Manage and lead a team of production supervisors and operators, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
10. Monitor and analyze production data, such as production rates, downtime, and yield, to identify areas for improvement and drive operational excellence.
11. Collaborate with the research and development team to introduce new products or improve existing ones, ensuring smooth transition from development to production.
12. Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, collaborating with the supply chain team to ensure adequate stock levels for uninterrupted production.
13. Implement and promote lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives within the production department.
14. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in production management to drive innovation and competitiveness.
